Kaiser Ridge – eco stay is located 12 minutes drive from Tanunda in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Access is via Rifle Range Road, which is a well maintained unsealed road, suitable for all vehicles. The magic of Kaiser Ridge begins on your journey to the property. The quiet dirt road meanders through the hills, majestic ancient gum trees arching above. The further you go, the more beautiful and tranquil  the scenery becomes! You will most likely see kangaroos grazing along the way – a warm welcome for our guests!

Kaiser Ridge – eco stay is an 80 acre property, all of which you have access to. You can curate your stay the way you like! Each tiny house has its own full kitchen and bathroom, kingsize beds in the lofts, lounge space with wood fire, split system heating/cooling, outdoor deck area and outdoor fire pit. “Heritage” also has an outdoor bath for two, and “Kaiser” has a private woodfire heated hot tub.

Guests are free to explore the property while they stay at Kaiser Ridge. While we’re still working on creating marked walking trails, you’re welcome to roam and discover picturesque picnic spots, amazing viewpoints, and sensational sunsets. So bring your walking shoes

For some quieter time, there is plenty of wildlife to spot, and birds to watch, always changing throughout the seasons.

Off the Grid

Environment conservation and sustainability is important to us at Kaiser Ridge. We feel extremely blessed as caretakers of a stunning piece of land and to be able to share this with the world. However, with this comes big responsibility. It was a goal of ours to build Kaiser Ridge – eco stay as a fully off grid property – and we did it! While precision and care has been taken in the development, it is important to remember that this property is self reliant, meaning at times, we have to be mindful of water and energy consumption, and use the waterless composting toilet system in an ecologically beneficial way. This will enhance your sense of freedom, stillness and calm while staying at Kaiser Ridge – eco stay. What a way to escape and recharge!

Good to Know

Your stay at Kaiser Ridge, while being ecologically conscious, will be no less comfortable. Each tiny house is connected to unlimited hi speed wifi and has a Bose bluetooth speaker to add to the ambience. However, there is no television. Perhaps bring a book instead, play a board game or connect with the ones you love. All freshly laundered linen and towels are supplied and the bathroom is stocked with natural soaps and shampoos for your use. Each tiny house contains a fully equiped kitchen including all electric stove, oven and other small appliances, french press coffee, loose leaf tea and fresh seasonal fruit and veg to make your own nutritious juice in the morning. Split system heating/cooling, wood fire and ceiling fan are there to use for your comfort. Toast some marshmallows around the fire pit during the winter months, and watch the sun go down from your own private deck, sipping a glass of wine!

This one is easy…relax! Staying at Kaiser Ridge gives you the opportunity to read a book, sit quietly, listen to music; just be. Set aside the time to re-engage with yourself, your partner, your kids or your friends. Quality time is precious and rewarding. You totally deserve it.
